06Complications, Digital Workflow & Certification
“What to do when things don't go to plan.”
Overview
The final module prepares you for independent practice by covering what textbooks leave out: complications, failures, and the digital tools that are reshaping the profession. You will learn to diagnose and treat peri-implantitis, manage prosthetic and mechanical failures, and use guided surgery software. The month closes with your case presentation and the certification ceremony.
Learning Outcome
“Career-ready. Can independently manage the full implant cycle — from CBCT to crown, including complications.”
Complications happen to every clinician. The ones who handle them confidently are the ones patients trust for life.
What You Will Be Able To Do
- Diagnose peri-implantitis and execute non-surgical + surgical treatment
- Handle implant fractures, stripped screws, and prosthetic failures
- Use guided surgery software for implant planning
- Take digital impressions and work with STL files
- Present two completed patient cases to the faculty panel
